hello,
in the process of replacing the brake / fuel lines i found that the protective sleve for fuel pump harness is decayed.
this is a rubber tube that has a grommet type end that inserts into the trunk cross member, and has a lenght of tube that the fuel pump wires go thru.
MB classic wants to sell me a protective sleeve for the headlights, which i guess is similar. K&K and Millers do not have a good cross reference to find what I need.
anyone have a pn or idea where I can get the correct item?
thanks
matt

Interesting. I put a normal grommet there. My dealer and I could not find a part number for the part you speak of. Do you know the M-B part number for the one the Classic Center want sto sell you?

Hello,
Black heat shrink tubing will match almost exactly. Find a good electrical supply house or use McMaster-Carr for a good selection in black, long enough and the correct diameter.
Rhode Island Wiring Harness also makes exact reproduction Mercedes wiring harnesses. They may be able to sell you some sleeving also.

MB wanted to sell me the rubber that covers the wires to the headlight buckets.
