Title: Shift Linkage 250 sl
Post by: Magic on May 12, 2006, 20:10:36
I'm trying to locate a replacement bushing for my 250sl shift linkage. This is the part that connects the shift lever to the linkage. Any help would be appreciated.

Few weeks ago I went through the same
thing and I bought mine from the Netherland -
Van Dijk -great service and fast - they have
all items in stock.

vandijk@classicsl.com

Here are the items I ordered and the relavant
diagram  http://www.classicsl.com/newpage27.htm

216-004  - Automatic Gear Linkage Bushing - right
216-005 - Automatic Gear Linkage Bushing  - left
216-007 - Circle clip stoper
Washer - no item number in diagram (between 007 & 004)
216-047 - Bushing

Item 216-007 could not be found anywhere except with them
this is not manufactured any more

The cost was 26.04 Euro - their minimum order is 75 euros
for them not to charge you additional fees. I ordered new
set of engine mountings along - check yours you may
need them. It made my car's ride much smoother and I could
feel now the gear when shifting...

What about your local MB dealer?

These parts are readily available and fairly inexpensive.
