Title: Emmission Standard for 280sl vin 19962

This car resides in canada and was originally purchased abroad.

It does not have the emmission control device of the 70 and 71 cars.

When imported to US would I need to add this device to meet EPA standards.

Arjun,

I believe most emissions and even federal safety standards etc. are waived when the car hits 25 years old.
