Title: New Pagoda Group video

Once again it is well into the cocktail hour here in Nevada City, CA.. so here is my idea for a club project...

Members around the world send me home videos (short) of their Pagoda experience to edit into a "W113 Pagoda Group Club Around the World" DVD.

Hopefully Ray Hays (an actual video professional), will provide guidance.

Let me know what you think, your ideas and if you would be willing to participate... don't send tape yet.

A friend of mine is an amature videographer/editor.  I would be willing to donate some raw and/or edited material.  I guess you would have to specifiy the media you want donated:
- analog tape and which type
- digital tape and which type
- video disk

Yes Dick it is way into cocktail hour here as well, what is the rating on this video I have some great umm footage... well might be it's not exactly what you are looking for ummmm... but it does involve the Pagoda :oops:

Ernie.. if you send tape make sure it is plain brown wraper.
Rodd..I can handle all tape formats including analog.  I can't import DVD formated files or PAL video but maybe Ray has suggestion for those.

how short is short?

You want it on tape? Mini Dv ok? though DVD would be easiest.

This sounds like fun.  I don't have a videocam, but I'm sure I can find someone nearby who does.

BTW, I can convert DVD files into MPEG, if you need this done.

I've been out on locations for a while and just got around to finding this topic.  

Dick and I should meet off-line to exchange format and file information.  But let's not get the Pagoda ahead of the horse. We'll figure out how once we know what we want.  In the mean time, I would assume that scores of us have access to decent quality video cameras. And there is no shortage of desire to show off our cars.
