Hi Guys (and the occasional girl 8) ),
I am so impressed by the new PW, with two lovely covers and plenty of valuable information inside. Rodd and company, you really have set the bar higher than ever. The wiring diagrams, the datenblatt analysis, and the hilarious article on trying to register a car in Ibiza kept me reading cover-to-cover. My Lord and Master (he who must be obeyed) tried to steal it, but I hung on for dear life. He has virtually every other old-car magazine in huge piles around the house, but he made a try for my unread PW.
After a few years, sellers offering a full collection of PWs will make their cars even more attractive than they already are!
Thanks to everyone who contributed and worked on this great issue.

The cover on the April "Pagoda World" is First Class. For me it begs a question about the side view mirror. Which is correct, wide side out or narrow side out? I too, have the swan neck design and the mirror can be oriented either way. Which did MBZ consider correct?

I believe it's backwards in that photo. The mirror should give the driver an ever-widening view of what is behind the car, particularly in the next lane. This would mean the narrow part should be nearest the door.

Rob - the latest Pagoda World was mailed out about a month ago. Your membership was current, so you should have received it. Rodd can check whether it came back undeliverable.
Chad - if you send me an email I can check your membership account status.

Just for the record, Rodd was the Editor of the latest edition. I am no longer the Editor of Pagoda World, so all inquiries should be directed to either Rodd or Cees.

Jazn - if you go to the homepage (click on the blue logo on the top left of each forum page or on this link:
http://www.sl113.org/home.asp ) and then on the "membership" tab, you can sign up for full membership. This includes the subscription to Pagoda World. Cost is $30 for US or Canada, or EUR 30 for other countries.

I will check for you guys to see if I sent you one.
Please note: If your membership was more than 6 months expired at the time of mailing, you were sent a membership renewal letter instead of Pagoda World.

Issue 6 had a color photo (blue Pagoda against green hill side) on the cover with a white 1.5 inch boarder around it.
Issue 7 had a color photo (white Pagoda against ancient castle) on the cover edge to edge.
