Title: Frigiking low/high side pressures?
Post by: BHap on July 07, 2003, 19:25:59
What are the approximate pressures for a Frigiking system with a sanden rotary compressor using R12?  The low side schrader valve is right on top of the wheel well - but where is the high side orifice?  So far it looks like the low side is 30 after I added one can.... with the compressor running at idle.... don't want to add more until I know the numbers and can check both sides....  thanks in advance for your help.....

Hi,

Did yo ever find out your answer?  I've been trying to find out where the low side is on my '71 280SL because I've found 2 cans of R12 in a high school paraphenalia locker in my basement.  I remember back in HS being warned not to try and charge the high side- BOOM.  So, I'm trying to make sure where the low port is.  Over which wheelwell?  Is it obvious?

Thanks & good luck

David
