Title: 1.8 Ballast Resistor
Post by: J. Huber on March 23, 2006, 16:22:33
Quickie: is the resistor oriented so its above the bolt or turned upside down so it would be below?

I have two on mine now -- one is up and one down.

Hi James,

From an operation point of view it makes no difference because a resistor is not electrically polarized.  I'm not sure if your question was from an operations or originality view.

Well, I was coming from operations angle...but originality would count too. Would Naj's be the latter? And Naj, I was guessing the other way! Thanks.

Naj's makes good sense because the wires are a bit more out of the way.  I am upgrading from combined .9 and .6 -- the .9 being the original. It is where Naj's is, so I'm sold. Thanks folks.
