Post by: n/a on February 27, 2006, 12:53:13
Does anybody know how to adjust Injection Pump timing, when assembling the pump to the engine housing!!!!
The Injection Pump is Bosch PEF6KL70/120R11. :?:  :?:

If you use the search function, you will come up with the right information; this has been discussed before several times. Basically there are timing marks on the pump end. I think the timing should be 20 degrees ATDC, but please check the previous posts on this.

Hello,

Yes Cees is correct, 20 degrees after top dead center. Make sure you are on the compression stroke of the #1 cylinder (both cam lobes over #1 cylinder will be roughly pointing upward). Line up the marks on the injection pump and slide it in place!

While your at it, make to make sure the distributor rotor has just passed #1 spark plug wire.
