Guys, (and gals) This could be our chance to have another Bay Area gathering. If anyone has any more details or ideas on the concept please share them here. I am a strong maybe for March 11.

Or would we want to encourage something closer to late Spring-early Summer?

I will definitely not be able to make it on that day.  I hope there is going to be a good turnout.

I plan to make the drive.  

I spoke with the owner of a 69' 280 4sp manual that was parked behind me this weekend.  Turns out it is one of the only possessions they have that survived the Oakland hills fire of '91.  The top was lost in their garage with their home and all possessions.  I imagine that experience would make them even more appreciative of this vehicle which they have had since it was new.  They had to paint it after embers rested on the car from the fire.  Wish I knew more of the story.  Glad this pic wasn't the pagoda!
