This would be a good candidate for the "$7 Million Man" project.....

I think it would be fair to say, he is not misrepresenting much on this one!

Ouch, I think Douglas is right about the cost potential here...

Yikes - as much as I like to see all Pagodas saved and cherished, you would have to be really courageous to take on this particular challenge. Wonder how many more are sitting around looking like this ...

I'm predicting that we will see this one on ebay after a couple of thousand dollars worth of "puff" work, sporting a new price tag that adds another zero to the existing one.

Wow, I paid less than that for my 70 280 SL three years ago.  I've been driving it ever since!  And it has everything, including the soft top, Becker Mexico, spare, tool kit, heater levers, entire grill intact, and came with an extra hard top for a 107.  It needs some beautification, but overall, it's a nice driver.

Well, 70 Chevelle, would you take $10,500. for it today?  That would be a 300% return on your investment.

You know, Rayond, I would take $10,500 for the car, but....my wife, kids, mother & father won't let me!  I love the car, maybe not as much as they do, but...  It turns heads wherever I go.  I know the $x0,000's that it takes to build a car.  I built my Chevelle from the ground up.  I drove it home the day I bought it, and tore it down to the frame.  Didn't drive it again until 8 years later!  I took a week of vacation after I purchased the 280, and replaced all the rotted floors and install a new exhaust system so it would pass inspection, and it's been great ever since.  My gameplan has been to drive it until it doesn't run any more, then pull the motor, rebuild, and do the bodywork.  I hope it lasts until the kids are out of college!

Even "barn finds" appreciate:

But this one could have been a good deal:
