Title: Welcome Dan
Post by: Ricardo on June 25, 2003, 21:23:53
Pagoda life just keeps getting better! Great to have another experienced voice helping unravel some of the mysteries of "german engineering" on this site. Glad you could come out and play Dan.

I agree Ricardo. I'm waiting for Dan to get tired of the cold and open a Los Angeles shop.

Great to see you here Dan!

Dan (Dr. Benz) was actually instrumental in the whole process of establishing this group, providing lots of valuable input along the way ever since last fall. So we have even more to thank him for than "just" all the technical information he contributes to the Pagoda community. So if you need parts, please remember it's Dan's business to help you out with that as well ...

Well Rudy, I'd hate to see him leave the "true north strong and free"..... being a canuck myself.... however he currently lives as far south as you can get in Canada........ I don't think he's ever seen snow...... though a move to L.A. might see him earn the "brain surgeon wages" he probably deserves ;)

( I guess I better say something, eh? )
I'd need a green card to move to the States - not something that's likely to happen. I have a Sister in LA - interesting place , but I kind of like where I am. I can see MI from where I live , that's close enough.
Oh , and I see snow - lots of it sometimes although Richard is right, I'm only an hour or so from the most southern part of Canada - Point Pelee. Best birding place you can find. People come from all over the world in the spring it's so good.
I'm actually about the same latitude as the north part of California at around 42.5 degrees. Why don't some of you come and see my place on Aug.16th and I'll show you around? Nice area really, very rural , lots of nice farms and the Great Lakes all around. Detroit is an hour away and Toronto 3 hours east of me. Home sweet home.
