Lovely!!! Is this paint code 291 by chance?
Love the skinny whitewalls...what tire is this exactly? I want to change over to whitewalls on my '68 Dark Green 250SL.
My 250SL was picked up in Portland, Oregon this morning and is on its way to Atlanta (in an enclosed carrier). :D Cost is $1450 in case anyone is interested.

Green,
Very nice looking car. I didn't know such a dark green was available - it almost looks black. By the way, can you please not post messages this way? It takes a while for them to load and they don't fit on the screen anyway. Just put a URL link in your post.

Bob,
It has 280SL style side reflectors and side mirror. It's probably a later 250 after the style change.

Rodd these nice pictures loaded up instantly fast on my computer. It looked very nice to see pictures like this on the site. It does look like one of the later-style 250.
Do you have any pictures of the car that are not in shade, but rather in the sunlight, to help us get an idea of the authentic color of the car, how dark it is?

Thanks for all the comments folks, I really appreciate it. This car is ALL original. Tires are michelins [ill get specifics later].
More pics :)

Rodd, its actuually great to see large pictures such as this of our cars as the 80kb really does loose all the definition and I had no problem opening the topic.
Is there a particlular reason we hold the limit to 80kb?
