I bought this car from the US last year and shipped to Beirut, and started on its full restoration. The car is a bucket of rust, but luckily I had bought all the floor and boot panels, and the front patch panels etc.. also all the weather strips and a whole new leather interior from Gahh (seats, carpet, hood).
The engine will be completely overhauled, and the same goes for all mechanical components.
This is my second restoration of a W113, and things seem so much easier the second time round.
Wish me luck on this One!
I am also finishing the full restoration of a (W111) 1966 250Se convertible, will post photos when finished.
Regards
PS. Don't be scared from the photo!

Good luck! It is admirable that you have chosen a car in so much need. You are truly adding one back into the fleet!

Malek, my 280SL was in similar condition in 1997. It was brought from the UK to Cyprus and restored by a Paris Koupallis in Nicosia. It was then shipped to Italy and driven across europe back to the uk.
