Title: Differential Fluid
Post by: bpossel on October 14, 2005, 07:30:21
Hi All!

When replacing the differential fluid is Hypoid 75 W/90 ok to use?
I read somewhere that 85 W/90 is recommended?

What weight, brand do you use?

Thanks!

Bob,

I think the 75W/90 is for cold climates.  Probably wouldn't really hurt to use it, but I'd still stick with 85W/90.  I use Valvoline usually, and always read the label to be sure it's a hypoid oil.
