Does anyone know where the chassis # for 280 sl 1970 right hand?

Hi, Adrian,

There should be a vin plate on the fire wall in the engine bay above and to the right of the fuse box.

Its also stamped on the right chassis leg. See picture:Under the rubber bit of the vacuum pipe.

Actually Naj,
The vin plate has been moved sometime during the 1969 year to the new location on the drivers door jamb along with a emissions(for USA only)tag.
