Title: Not So Rare Part

i just purchase from local MB dealer a brand new not so rare ignition coil cover for JUST the huge sume of $7.29. Yes that is correct! and only took 4 days on special order.

Frequently touted as rare but not so.

Hello Guys,
With one exception, the original distributor covers had stainless steel snaps and the replacements have plastic snaps.  Like the washer bags and brake booster lines, there are subtle changes only the most critical eye will catch.
The original coil covers also had the stainless steel snaps and the later had plastic.

As far as function, the replacement covers with plastic snaps work fine and the hundred dollars savings can be spent in more needed places.
