Title: End link bushing for sway bar
Post by: RBurg on September 07, 2005, 07:29:41
HELP!  HELP!
Does anyone know where I can purchase the bushing for the sway bar end link.  There is a set of 8. MB only sells the complete set as a totale rebuild kit for over #$100.00

Bud Benz just sent the parts and they are totale wrong. They sent front axel rings and call them sway
bar end links.

Ron,

You must have gotten the bushing I sent back to Bud's, they made the same mistake with me.  They are usually great with service and accuracy, I would suggest that when you work with them you specifically ask for Dave, he is very knowledgeable.  As for a partial kit, I was not able to find it, the "rebuild" comes with the two front bushings and the doughnuts for the bar ends and yes, it runs a little over $100.

Good luck,

Hello Ron,

If you don't mind non orig, Autozone has poly urethane ones for about $10.00 (both sides) with hardware.

Joe:

Thanks for the tip on bushings - how will they work if it is not as large as the orginial?  will it move around  or stay centered?

Thanks
