Title: New hubcap painting mask
Post by: TA250SL on September 04, 2005, 01:18:49
I have no connection to the seller, but here is a rubber painting mask from a U.S. source that looks like it performs the task quite well.

...and Tom Rose and I just collaborated on sending our new wheel covers out to a local shop here.  BTW they don't have the mask, and are doing all 8 covers for $50 each.  Tom and I share 568 Signal Red cars.

fyi...

I purchased the mask for the newer 1 piece wheel cover from this seller.  I expect it to arrive this week.  Have my painter lined up to try this out on some new covers that I purchased from SLS.

I'll let you know how they work out.

I like the team approach -- if anyone is planning to paint with 332G or 904 (if that is also a dark blue?), my hubcaps could use some TLC.
