Title: Thermo-Time Switches 001 545 92 24 $299 Each - Only 1 left

These OEM VDO 001 545 92 24 Thermo-Time switches, which were used on many early 60's & 70's mechanical fuel injection engine models, have been long since discontinued and are just about impossible to find, either new or used.
These are brand new original parts, never installed, not used. All are NOS (New Old Stock). VDO manufactured these for Daimler-Benz. Price may seem high at $299 EACH but, typically, these switches sell for in excess of $800 each online, since they are obsolete. If you do a search online, you will see that this is true. Even Niemoeller in Germany has none of these switches. These are the real deal and not a scam.  I am the founder and former owner of EUROPARTS of San Diego, which I owned and operated for 37 years before selling the business and retiring in November 2022.  Most of my old W113 inventory is long gone but, I still have a few items left in addition to these thermo-Time switches.

Shipping anywhere in the US is $15 and will include insured USPS delivery, with a tracking number. If you are located outside the US, postal shipping will be $53 or more, depending upon your location. I had more than 60 of these new, old stock switches, although most of them have already been sold.  1 remaining, as of 8/1/25.  I am located in Poway, CA (Suburban San Diego).   1 per person, please.

VDO 36/2/9 or 36/2/13
12V 40W operating voltage and wattage.
120 Deg C Max. operating temperature.
5 Deg C +- 3 Deg C. Temperature at which contact opens.
20 Deg C - 9.5 Sek 20 deg actuation time in seconds.
Terminals are stamped G & W  (Ground & Neutral)
