I've dinged up the steering shaft on my 230SL while re-installing the column. I need to dress up the shaft and replace the nut. Anyone know what size nut the shaft takes? Looks like it could be either a 16MM or 15MM but the nut has also become damaged in the process and I'm not sure at this point. Got a feeling this is another odd ball sized nut that MB uses.

How did you know this was also a copied message? Did you recall the original?
Here’s some internet information about potential motives:
“Some spammers post normal content on forums to fly under the radar. Then, perhaps a month later or so, they edit those posts to insert links to other sites. This goes unnoticed because moderators only see new posts. Old posts that have been edited are not showing up as new posts.
This is usually done by people offering "search engine rank optimization" services, where you pay them to boost your site's ranking. They have automated spam bots (or even real people) who register on random sites for this purpose. It's somewhat similar to a botnet, basically.
In other cases, these bots aren't there to spam, but instead are used for exploiting vulnerabilities in forum software once a new "zero-day" appears. If you already have "undercover" accounts on various sites on the net, you can automatically start using them to exploit the vulnerability.”

I vaguely remembered the original post, i do search posts to see if anything is worthy of putting into the manual, hence why some older posts stick in my mind, i may have stumbled across them recently
I couldn't see how this recent post could be malicious, but was curious as to why anyone, or any "thing" would bother
