I was going to say “just a movement of my collection to the new garage”… > :D
But, yes, it is 500km Slovakian FIVA Rally 2025.
I think these guys have a very poor weather now…
-
Great to watch those fabulous cars roll by, Pawel.
Stupid questions : where were these car coming from and going to and why by train ?

This was, as we said, the Slovakian 500km Rally. The place marked in the footage was Zilina, Slovakia.
I have no idea why it was chosen to bring the cars to, I guess, one location - start? Some stage? No idea. Weather was poor...
-
And some folk would choose to transport their car to the stage/start rather than drive - happens a lot, I saw a car transporter on the autoroute near Dijon on Monday loaded with classics "stickered up" for an event (including a red pagoda)

Exactly. Our colleagues form our local Pagoda club, when they organized tours in e.g. Greece, they took the cars there on trucks. Train could be a good alternative for a larger number of cars.
-
So all the car owners are in the passenger section shown in front of the cars ?
Good way to travel. better than trucking. With everyone together the party can start early !
It has to take a few hours to load up those cars.

I live in Virginia, USA, and there is a car train that traveled the east coast to Florida. Several of our members will load onto train in Loudoun, Virginia, and take the train to Tampa Florida, for winter havens, or to car events there. Great way to travel and not worry about crazy drivers on Interstate 95.

I think that's the one that leaves from Sanford. I had a friend ship a car north to NJ that way. Worked swimmingly!
