Looks like the remnants of an old relay, like the flasher one.

You mean the empty shell, cylinder shape?

It looks like remains of a more modern flasher relay. Was it black or silver?

Dear Mr. henderson

That small cilindrical relay next to your flasher relay, as your car is a 280SL as I remember is a KEY BUZZER.
