. . . and if you zoom in on the photo, you'll notice that they are standing on a cleverly designed platform placed on top of the roof to distribute their weight.

Bracq is on the right; who is standing on the left?

Michael for sure you are correct. The hair line is the giveaway. If you search early photos of Rudi, you can tell the hairline is same.
