Title: Almost a Pagoda.
Post by: waltklatt on March 23, 2025, 14:12:12
Went to a car show locally and found a Pagoda toy car.
Never seen one like this before.
Maybe someone else has.
See pictures.
Make in Hong Kong, similar to Tomte Laerdal Stavanger of Norway.
Missing front wheels, windshield and a portion of the left front area.

Curious to know if there are others like this.

Hmm, guess there are not many collectors of the toy versions of the Pagoda....

I have many 1/43rd scale W113’s. Almost every color. All in original boxes. Even the 63 “launch” model. Have some others too. Probably will list them all for sale one of these days. I’ve never seen that rubber model before. Looks like someone was hungry.  ;D

John,

There was a keen collector in Australia who passed away and his collection is being sold.

Glad to hear from you John and Garry.
Thank you for your replies.
I did look at the website of the Australian place.  Wow, lots of different Mercedes models, many that I used to have too.
Have since downsized drastically years ago to make room for my wife's things.
But have two full scale Benzes in the garage, along with three motors.
I will continue to look for more information and parts to fix this little yellow one up.

Happy Benzing and stay safe.
