Title: SOLD MPH Speedometer

A 0-140 MPH speedometer. This was removed from my 230SL when I converted it back to metric.  I believe this is also correct for 300SE coupes and convertibles. # 004 542 07 06.  Asking $300 plus shipping and fees.  Includes rubber cover.

Hi Jordan,

Might have a customer who needs that. He has a Euro 230 but wants to put an MPH speedo in for his wife. He’s not a member here but I sent a screenshot of your ad to him. Will circle back once I hear from him. Was there any accuracy issue using it in a Euro spec car?

I don't believe there was any issue with accuracy.  A lot of Euro cars that were exported to the US in the 60's and 70's as used cars had to have their speedo's changed to MPH.  That was the case with mine.

Does it fit a '70 280SL? And, is it fully functional, in other words odometer works, speedometer works and no servicing is needed? If the answers are all yes, then I am interested in purchasing it.
