Title: Is this original it came with my tools kit?

The pliers have mercedes benz on it and did some research to know if its original but can’t find anything

Those are early type pliers (not sure with out a bunch of looking when "early" ends though), with the diamond shape of the jaws. The MB star is stamped on the handle, and Mercedes-Benz is on the jaws. To me it looks like the real deal.

They came with my 1969 280SL but when ever i researched pilers even on this website non of them had mercedes benz on it

Here is mine that came with my July '68 build SL. Casting a bit smoother and just the star
