I would like to include in our Blacklick Tech Video the photos and video taken by participants.
If you have one or two shots you think are interesting, funny or unusual send them along. Photos need to be higher resolution than we can handle on our site so email to: rmentzer@pacbell.net
If you have video let me know and we'll figure out a way to get them to me.
Thanks

Hello Dick,
How about this one "Blacklick Injection Pump Test Bench"! Robert Bosch is probably rolling over in his grave! :D

Joe,
Now I am really upset to have missed this bench test. Was that a Mail Pouch auto-thermal-fractional-nonSAE-calibrated-sensing device hanging on the wall in the background I noticed? How did you synchronize it with the other sensitive instruments that were obviously measuring relative barometric back pressure differentials from the pump outlet? Man, you guys went all out.
Thanks for sharing that,
Greg

Yes Greg, everything was precisely metered according to temperature. Water is then pumped from the barrel through the warm up device. Elevation and atmosheric readings can be checked by attaching the entire assembly to some hellium baloons and hoisting it aloft! (Warning do not stand under unit when test is conducted). We can offer this complete procedure and calibration for $29.95 US :D

That is one of the most classic photos I have ever seen! The old door on the tin wall, the Mail Pouch thermometer, the old whiskey barrel, and the cockeyed JA17 plate on the wall, with the test apparatus in the foreground, are just too perfect. Joe, if I hadn't been there, I'd think you spent hours staging it. I think you should publish that photo!

Of course, the test apparatus is fully functional and, yes, I saw with my own eyes how Joe fixed an injector that had a poor spray pattern with his fingernail ...

The Pagoda terrorists ate (I lost) one of the recorded video tapes from the first day (Tom please look in your car). So I'm making another plea for Tech Session photos/video... shots of people, car parts, sign in and speakers. Don't worry about the composition as long as resolution is good... I can crop and recompose to create interesting video shot.
