I know there has been several threads re this swap.
Any definitive comments if this is a worthy upgrade?
Thanks

I put one on my car along with polyurethane bushings. It handles nicely but didn't increase the ride quality too much.

I Have the poly bushings for the 22mm if needed.

Wouldn’t your 230SL “Red Rocket” already have the larger 22mm sway bar compared to a stock 280SL?

Isn’t the larger diameter sway bar possibly offering “better handling” as opposed to ride quality?

Every car has history.  My sub fame was damaged so I used everything from a 250SE coupe which has the larger sway bar. The springs are different on the coupe so I had to change them and I added the sway bar bushings.
