Can anyone please tell me if this is a correct bolt for the bonnet hinge ? It is an M6
Cheers Michael

Looks correct.
-
Thank you.
-
I would double check the length...
-
Look too short ?
-
Too long somehow...
-
The concave head design looks wrong also.
-
Yes that was what made me think they were incorrect, but the tip of the bolt being unthreaded does facilitate locating the captive nut in the bonnet and makes me think they have been designed specifically…….still hoping for a definitive answer.

White blue
I currently have my hood off and hood bolts out…..I will take a pic, with dimensions, tomorrow and post.

In any case, here is what parts list is saying about those bolts:
N 000933 006102
SCREW (-)
Replaced with N 304017 006016
-
N 304017 006016
HEXAGON HEAD BOLT (Hex head bolt 6-K)
HINGE MOUNTINGS TO ENGINE HOOD; M6X16
So here at least you have the length.

Thank you all.
Here is what Authentic Classics has.

I apologise for this red herring of a post re bonnet hinge bolts. On the net I have found an example of the bolt. I am finding all sorts of things like this on my car. Incorrect engine mounts, housing screws holding in headlights…..

What I was not sure about was the cut outs in thread for the bolt to cut through the paint (like the bolts for the seats or for the horns) - did these bolts have it?
Otherwise, yes, I think they were quite generic M6 hex head bolts. But there are people here who can tell more/better.
I also do not know if they should be their natural color or they should be body paint color if they were painted with the hood, hinges and washers.
