We know that the US 113's 70 &71 had the Bundt's as a dealer installed option, was this also available in Europe ?
-
Yes it was.

Hi,
Indeed, see price list 02/1971 for extras ("Alufelgen"): https://www.pagodenteile.de/info/31.htm.

The forged Fuchs alloys, Bundts, Barock etc became a factory option in the 1971 model year after July 1970. Code 640. The dealer option before consisted of 4 alloys with a steel spare. The factory option had 5 alloys with a different spare wheel holder as the Bundt does not fit on the steel spare mounting.

This is a spare wheel holder for a alloy wheel.

I have never seen a Bundt mount in a 113 do you have a picture with tire in and out so I can see mount?
-
Did you fabricate this yourself?

From what I’ve seen, Bundt wheels weren’t really a thing for European models. Over here, we usually got different wheel styles that were more in line with local tastes. I’ve been into classic cars for a while, and Bundts seem to be more of a US thing.
-
That may be true regarding general preferences of customers, but what the factory or dealers offered may not correspond. I'm inclined to believe the statements about offerings from the dealers and fact.

Dealer installed Bundts were quite popular in Europe. Factory installed (5 wheels) not so much. Probably because of cost and also, it was a rather late in the production cycle option.
