Any recommendations for replacement soft tops?

Manufacturers or fitters?

Sonnenland or Mohair?

I see d:class don’t do soft tops any more🤷🏻

Thanks Chris. Hopefully I’ll be in Cape Town in about 3 weeks but unfortunately the car won’t be.

I take it you got the top mail order from them?

Collected my soft top from them while I was passing through Stuttgart 2 months ago.
Excellent quality and in my opinion possibly the best. There underlining is close to the original too.

Hi Sam,
As a pilot with SAA, I visited KHM on one of my flights to Germany. I was well received and very impressed with their operation. I order a few tops from them over the years and it was posted to my hotel.
Amongst others, I have fitted 5 x 190SL, 2 x Pagoda, 220 Ponton cabrio, 220SE Cabrio, VW Beetle and a Golf cabrio top.

By the way, we are presently in the UK “baby sitting” our 8 yr old grand son, during their summer break and will be home in a month or so.

I guess you’ve probably gone by now🤷🏻

Do you fit the tops yourself or get a professional outfit to do it?

I’m getting quoted more to fit the top than buy it!
