Intrigued by this photo in today's Guardian (about wedding photography). Can anyone make out what car this is? It looks sort of modern (windshield frame) but then again classic. Maybe a modern FIAT 124 (Miata based)?

To me it looks American from the 80's/90's, not foreign.. My first guess was Mercury Capri ASC McLaren, but after a little more digging I believe it is a 1982 Ford Mustang Intermeccanica Cabriolet. The key is to match up the side mirrors in addition to rear fender flares integrated in the body.

A Javelin initially came to mind but Its a RHD and a rag top with cover and also capable of the seats laying back so suspect it is a Japanese, British or Euro vehicle like a TRV or maybe Porsche 924 or 944 but has no brand badges on bonnet that takes those out of equation. Maybe an Infinity convertible of the 90’s.

I think WRe got it!
Looks better from above than the side, if that's indeed the car (I think so).
