The rebuilt rear axel is now hanging in the car. A year behind schedule but it good be working on the car again. Based on your past experience, would you install the differential cross strut or the rear control arm?

What exactly are you asking?

Alex
if you are re installing the axle, i believe the below are the steps i followed when re installing mine
1. with swing arm spring installed, lift axle at 3 points, diff, left and right side until you can secure the diff hanger.
2. then cross locating strut
3. then left trailing arm
4. then right trailing arm
5. once all is in place then deal with trailing arm springs.
the whole time making sure the spring did not come out of its perches
