Title: Easy fix for a minor irritation
Post by: stickandrudderman on May 10, 2024, 09:15:45
One thing that always bothers me is when, during battery changes, the clamping rods will fall out and play hide and seek.
I've taken to drilling the end and putting a split pin and washer in so as to prevent errant travels...

Cool!  My riding mower has the same design and same problem.  How about putting a tight c-clip on it?  I'll try that.

I have a plastic strip clamp on my rods to kerp them in place, works great.
