Title: '71 280 VIN help!

Greetings, I am trying to decode the data card I got from MB and need some help. VIN is 11304412 021383.

Got the basics; 113 is chassis, 044 is 280, 1 is LHD, 2 is auto. BUT I can't decipher 021383 into a production date. Can anyone help here?

There isn't really anything to decipher.  That last part is the sequential production number.  We have chart in the tech manual that will give you the month and year of production.
