Title: shock absorber
Post by: Davek1 on April 25, 2024, 15:05:31
Hello All, hoping someone can help me with this. I have started to notice that under heavy breaking the front end is driving quite a lot, so thinking it may be time for a new set of shocks. I would like a set of Bilstein's, but having ready the Tec manual which states B6s and gone to Autodoc which shows B4s, I am not sure which is correct. I would think the Tec manual is correct but before making the purchase I thought it a good ideal to get other thoughts on the two. Thanks

Just spoke to Bilstein and B6s are no longer available for our cars, so perhaps the Tec manual needs updating.
B4 part number for the fronts is 24 0052 96, and the back ones are 24 0053 95.

I can recommend these Koni's if you are not set on Bilsteins.   I like them because they are adjustable.
