Title: Pagoda World Status

Full Members:

The first issue of Pagoda World is back from the printers and is being bundled with other membership materials (window sticker, ID card, etc.) for distribution to Full Members.

This issue contains:
- A historical look a the release of the W113 40 years ago
- An interview with John Olson
- Living with a Pagoda in New York City
- An account of one member's trip to the MBCCCI Classic Days in Luxembourg.
- A story on Max Hoffman
- Biography of Gottlieb Diamler

Every issue will contain:
- Message from the President
- Letter fromt the Editor
- Letters from readers
- Keeping the Star Shining (a column on detailing)
- Pagoda Trivia
- Classified ads from members
- List of membership benefits
- List of group events
- List of articles in upcoming issue

Next issue will feature:
- Interview with David Coulthard, McLaren/MB driver for F1
- Story on a spectacular model of a 280SL
- Biography of Karl Benz
- More

you forgot to mention the "Upcoming Events" column that you put into the current magazine. i assume you think it should stay.

I got a sneak preview at the first issue this afternoon - it looks absolutely great! Congrats to Rodd (editor-in-chief) and his team for putting this together. Hopefully there will be many more issues to follow!
We will have a few copies as door prizes at the tech session next weekend (along with door prizes donated by Ed Ebel from Becker of North America, Bob Geco as well as others) so there's another reason to join us and have a good (and educational) time ...

Here goes my 200-th post, hope I spelled it right!

Hello Group,

While at this past weekend's tech session and taking photos, I had "Pagoda World cover" in the back of my mind.  Anyone is allowed to submit photos to be used in Pagoda World, for the cover or elsewhere.  If you have high resolution digital photos that are impressive in their artistic nature, please send them to me for consideration.  You will be given due credit in the magazine
