Title: Need help locating a new gas cap!!

Hi guys, while driving today my gas cap came off somewhere on my travels. Was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to find a new one.

I'm looking for a new locking gas cap for a 1966 230Sl.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Rob,

The dealer stocks them and you'll also find them on ebay from time to time. (Prepare to pay handsomely though.)

Thx Douglas, by dealer I'm assuming you mean my local Mercedes-Benz dealer!!  I'll give them a call tomorrow!!

Please note:

There are two different Part Numbers !!!

Part No : 000 471 2030 is the cheap one.

Part No : 000 471 4730 is the expensive
one, ordered by individual key no.
