When i drive after adjustment of the toe on the front wheels with the steering box in the middle position with a pin through the hole for centering the Steering box , my SW stay with a 20° turn . I think i have an error in the coupling part between the column shaft and the steering box .
What would be the correction if i change 1 spline in the coupling ?
I assume i should unfix the steering box to do that if i am right.
Thank's

Does your indicator or blinker arm still work correct? If so, I would just change the steering wheel.

Dirk, no my blinker works fine on one side but doesn’t hold on the other

Yves, if that's the case you probably want to check the cam on the steering shaft (that releases the blinker) for being in the correct location. As you already suggested, you might have to rotate the shaft at the coupling.

Remove the key and allow the steering lock to engage. At this point the steering column is correctly indexed for the correct turn signal position and the slash on the end of the steering column will be directly upward. With the steering locked, the wheels should be straight ahead. In addition when these items are correct the number of steering wheel revolutions will be equal from center to lock on each side.

The lack of self cancelling on the indicator may be a red herring.
First try the indicators in both dirctions whilst turning the steering wheel one full turn and back. Ignore the position of the steeing wheel for the moment, we want to establish if your indicator will self cancel in any position.
If they do indeed self cancel in both directions then experiment with the steering wheel position to find the middle point between the two cencellation points. This will tell you where your self cancelling cam is located on the column.
With the steering wheel removed you'll see what looks like a chisel mark in the top of the column. With wheels pointing straight ahead this should be in the 12 0'clock position (6 o'clock for RHD)
If it's not somewhere near the straight ahead position then the likelyhood is that your steering column is not correctly aligned with the box and rectification involves seperating the box from the column, inserting the centralising pin in the box, getting an assistant to hold the steering wheel (column) in the correct position and then re-installing the box.
If you get this right and you find that you do not have an equal number of turns from centre to both left and right then the pitmarn arm on the box has been mounted incorrectly.

Thank’s both of you. I am out of the garage for two weeks….! I’ll test what you say which make sense nd report here 👍

The steering lock only engages in one position. At lock position the slash mark on the end of the steering shaft is automatically pointing straight upward.

Well.... i am back here ! i have checked:
The mark on the shaft is at 12 Oclock with the wheels straight. The "tab" on the column shaft is on the left side correct as the tech manual shows.
The indicators work well on the left side with correct canceling. On the right side it must be firmly engaged to keep its position otherwise it can't engage and cancel correctly.
When i have a look on the pin which must be pulled out from it's casing, when i engage the turn signal, it is symetric on right or left position.
As it was when i refurbished all the switch some years ago with new "rollers"
