Title: Dash Pad Code Question
Post by: LA280SL on August 06, 2023, 23:32:24
Today I finished removal of the upper dash pads.   Quite an adventure!

Each part has the code “105” as I read it.   Any idea what this stands for?  It’s not the leather code and not any sequence of the Vin #.

Good effort! I need to have my 'binnacle' reupholstered but have told it may need to wait until the next time I have the windscreen out!

It’s the build/production number of your car.

You’ll find it on the data plate.

Cheers Doug

Doug, Pawel, thanks for the direction to the data plate/production number.  It’s a match.

Rahul, here is how I get after screws that don’t have much vertical space for screw drivers, like the binnacle and the screws for upper dash pad tight up against the windshield.

As long as there is enough room for your fingertip to provide downward pressure these two ways work.

Small vice grips work also but you need more space for them.
