Post by: CJHenderson on July 28, 2023, 18:27:25
Having one heck of a time trying to install the pin for the rear axle center joint pin. Do I really need this pin?

Have it going the right way. On the end of the center joint pin there is a slot so you can adjust it so the flat spot is aligned properly, is there a clock position of that slot that would get me in the approximate position?

I don't recall that I had issues with the pin, so I don't exactly remember. I would think you can stick a small screwdriver or similar in there and kind off feel the flat coming around?

Hopefully this will help someone else. On the back of the pin is slot across the pin, set it to the 3 & 9 O'clock position and install the pin using minor adjustment if needed this will place the flat spot so you can install the cotter pin.
