Title: reliable parts source
Post by: n/a on July 05, 2005, 22:12:07
Hi,
I'm new to these forums.  I have a '69 280sl with 40k origional miles.  The front grille is dented along with one of the center chrome pieces.  Can someone please point me in the direction of a good parts source?
Thanks.
Scott

Hello Scott - welcome to the site. For parts and service suppliers of all sorts, check out this table. You can sort it according to type, country etc:

Scott,

I'd love to see some pix of your 40K car. What are its colors & how long have you owned it?

Scott,
The best supplier does not necessarily offer the best prices. A better supplier will provide some guidance as well. Somone with experience can hep you avoid costly mistakes in buying the wrong parts. Parts delivery can also be an issue. If it will take the supplier a month to get the part to you that could be a real problem.
