Title: Steering column question
Post by: Brandini on May 15, 2023, 15:38:35
My steering column seems to be tilted to the left (not straight center) and I wanted to know if this is normal? If not, is there a way to adjust?

Here's a couple of pictures though the angle is hard to tell.

Thanks,

Brandon

Seems they are all fitted this way, but there are a couple of explanations as to why

BobH,

Thank you for providing this information. It's been quite a head scratcher for me since I purchased the car. Glad I am not the only one.

Have a look at a 356 Porsche and you will see the same thing. Could be a common thing on many old cars.

From the tech manual:
You should just post a link to the tech manual, as we have the concept that it is privileged content for Full Members.  As people attain and lose full membership, the link will work or not work as appropriate.
