Title: California coupe rear seat

I’m trying to lay the seat back down, got seat pad out but does the seat back not lay down.
Can someone point me to the latch, screw, magic wand to get the seat back to lay down. A little embarrassing but that why I joined.

Apparently 47 years of the back being up the seat and side card he pretty much welded together. After an hour of separating success!!!. I just bought it off a guy who had it 47 years, so there yeah go, no latch?

Glad you got the seat moving again.  Hopefully some "California Coupe" owners will chime in and help you with any more rear seat questions.
