I haven't been able to find a photo convincing me I'm installing the pump correctly. Some previous owner had bent the mounting bracket and installed the short fuel pump directly to it without the circular "horseshoe" adapter. It never had a protective shroud around it. Last week, the vibration dampers failed and the fuel pump dropped off, breaking the ground wire and dangling from the hot lead and fuel hoses. I ordered the adapter plate and managed to bend the mounting bracket back into shape so the adapter fit. I think I have that right, but the fuel pump now sits more than an inch lower. So, I've attached photos of how I have the pump positioned before I tighten everything and re-route the hoses. Is this right?

Great video. I wish I understood French but a picture paints 1000 words. This video will help me when I reinstall my fuel tank and pump in a few weeks.
On a side note: You can purchase rubber covers specifically designed for the fuel pump wire terminals.

Just activate the closed captioning feature in the video

Closed captions are also in French. However, that is what I needed to see. Thanks!
