Hi,
I recently bought a 230SL with a ZF 5 speed manual tranny.  And wondering how many 230SL's came with this ZF-5 speed tranny.   Ive  heard in a couple of YouTube.com videos that a total of 882 280SL's were equipped with it.  But I have never heard of how many 230's and 250's had this 5sd tranny.  Anyone know the #?

You started another thread on this same general subject under the heading “General Discussion”.  It is counterproductive to start similar threads under different forum headings.

To avoid confusion, in future I would suggest sticking to one new thread only on a given question or subject, posted under the appropriate forum heading.
