You should post a lot more pictures here if you are serious about looking for a buyer on this sight. Interior, engine, left side of trunk, floor boards underside etc.

Looks nice from afar.

I second johnk’s comments.  The pricing may be right but it’s definitely at the top end without knowing more.  More pix, especially of areas that can be problematic, plus posting some driving vids on YouTube are the minimum selling strategy.  Any documentation would be beneficial to a successful sale as well.

I would think anybody looking for a car similar to this one, will contact the seller direct and ask for more information. As entertaining as it may be to have a car judged on our side, he may not be into that.

(1) I believe you are missing the point:  this forum has many discenering and potential buyers as members.  Tossing out a teaser without any substantive information is not likely to get many biters.   Asking members to connect one on one is also not likely to be very effective.
(2) suggest you peruse Bring A Trailer website to see what most folks expect from a proper listing.
(3) I personally would have interest…..but not willing to play the "guess what else there is to know about this car" game.  There are more efficient venues to buying a vintage 280 SL.
(4) I’ll check back in a few days to see if you have put in the effort to come up with a proper listing OR if your FOR SALE listing has been taken down by the site administrator

Looks like there are rust bubbles right behind the driver's side headlamp. If that is rust, then the car's price sounds on the high side to me, given how much it will cost to rectify just those fenders. And if there is rust there, there may be in other places as well. And I can't tell for sure from this one photo, but the plastic rear window looks yellowed to me.
