Just an FYI
I haven’t been successful in buying John Olson’s springs so I went to Mechatronik. Here is a cost breakdown of their kit… considerably cheaper than I’ve seen advertised in some places…
4 springs: €700
4 KW shocks: €1700
You can get one, the other, or both.
I’d buy the whole thing if someone would buy the 4 Koni classics I have here. Still in the box, got ‘em 2 weeks ago.
I’ll be buying the springs, at any rate.

This would ve a great thread for the For Sale forum.
Tell me more about the Koni shocks. Are they standard (comfort) style or sport or what? How do they compare to standard Bilstein for our cars? What price are you asking?

These are the Koni Classics that are adjustable, PN is 80-1415 and 80-1416. I've seen them strongly recommended by certain members on here, like GGR and Jim Villers. I understand John Olson also likes them. My intent was to just return them and eat the restocking fee. They are reasonably priced new, at just $535 for four for us guys in the US. An Australian member here expressed interest in them after I posted this thread, so I might discount them and send them to him as it seems they cost like $800 (USD!) in Australia!
I have no idea how they compare, though, but I do understand that they ride similarly to the original OEM shocks on certain settings. I haven't put them in my car yet.
