Leonard from Santa Rosa and myself met up in Galway Ireland last night. He was kind enough to hand carry a hard top handle across the pond. Payment was by means of refreshing beverages. A really enjoyable meet and lots of car discussion. Great to meet up with other members.

Awesome to see! I know that you will have a great time Leonard, in the meantime I’ll just leave a photo of your car in case you are missing one another 😂

DARN! Almost got to Galway for a visit with David Robinson!
I'm headed back to Italy with my father for a few days at the end of March. The preliminary flight investigation was having us go on Aer Lingus through Dublin...and we would have had a stopover. Alas, when it came time to actually book the tickets, the Italians came through on ITA with a nonstop AND the best price. Oh well, next time!
There's more to this group than just the cars! a lot of camaraderie and friendships for those that allow it to happen.

The Aer Lingus route I have found to be outstanding, layover or not. I am using again in May. I prefer to break up the long trip.

....reminds me of my college days....."will work for beer and pizza!" I'll be in Ireland again in May

I had the pleasure of meeting Leonard recently picking up his hardtop shell at his home. He was happy to share advise and info on his restoration techniques and tricks and over all just a pleasant guy. A+ member

How great to have hands across the pond!
One of the major things I love about the group is the kinship of folk who just love these cars and want to help others to keep them going 🥰

That kinship and desire to keep these cars going is what led to the creation of the group. It's great that the group has retained that character.
