Hello all,
I stumbled across this sight and realized it was as useful and educational as some of the other car forums I belong to. I'm currently thinking of buying my wife a pagoda, W113, SL...Not sure when but I'm sure in the next year or so. From what I've read so far it appears that these cars have a pretty good realiabilty factor and that they could be under valued compare to other cars. This car would be a weekend car but she said she would sell her 01CLK 430 Cab to have a SL, so I suppose it could be a daily driver for her also. I know that I should buy the best I can afford as I have restored other cars! Anyway I hope to gain some knowledge before I purchase my wife's dream car and this looks like the place to lurk and learn.
Thanks!

Good luck on your purchase, of course all I can say it's a good idea ;-)
As far as value is concerned, you should really shop around, because the differences in what sellers are asking for their cars can be a factor 2. If you are located in the US, you can choose from the lowest prices on the planet.
